Sunday cartoons

I've been off the grid recently so haven't been good at blog updates. Here are some recent cartoons.

Last week was about our state reps. who are very busy getting nothing done and somehow managing to get people to give them money for it. What a country!

Today's cartoon is a local issue. This past week there was an article about our U.S. Representative, Joseph Pitts and his ability to double dip his government pensions. In today's paper there was an excellent letter to the editor by a Mr. Eric Epstein that gives you all the numbers.http://lancasteronline.com/article/local/874355_Rep--Pitts-enjoys-bountiful-harvest.html

Another good film to see

I saw the poster for this movie on a recent trip to Pittsburgh. Then the week we returned there was Tomi Ungerer on "Fresh Air" talking about the film. It sounds fascinating and I am looking forward to seeing it. I love his work.

Looking forward to seeing this.

This looks like a great documentary. Hopefully it is seen by a lot of people and Mr. Block gets exposed to a whole new generation of cartoonists and rabble rousers.

News about drone technology becoming more accessible to private citizens had me thinking of ways people might use it.

New book about to hit the stores

I finished the illustrations and cover art for this new book for Magination Press this past December. It should be hitting the shelves any day now. Great advice for anyone with kids diagnosed with AD/HD. Many thanks to editor Sarah Fell who was fantastic to work with.
